This is for purchasing the prep for the Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) test only. This is for people who are sure that they need
ONLY the FOI prep. Most flight and ground instructor candidates should NOT get this, but rather the complete CFI test bank that includes all the flight/ground instructor tests plus the FOI.
To be clear: any purchase that includes
 automatically includes
 at no extra charge, so that if you selected as a title either as a 'single test bank' or part of the pick 3 bundle, you'd get both CFI and FOI and it would
only count as one test bank. This "FOI only" option here is at a lower price for those who know that they will only ever need FOI.

 | Do I need to be online to use the apps? |  | No, you don't. You only need to be online to initially download/install the apps and to later optionally update the app and/or its content. Additionally, for the PC version, you need to be online once to activate (unlock) the title after purchase. After that, as a day to day matter, you do not need to be online at all to use our test prep apps. For example, you can use our GroundSchool app on your tablet or laptop while seated in row 19E on your cross country airline flight without Internet access or your WiFi-less quiet basement study area just fine. | | How does the content compare on different platforms (PC vs iPhone/iPad vs Mac vs Android)? | | The learning content is the same on all platforms and updates become available for all platforms simultaneously. | | How do app features differ on the various platforms (PC vs iPhone/iPad vs Mac vs Android)? | | All the platform apps are basically similar with similar features, though each is customized to the needs and standards of the specific platform. There is no 'best' platform version - they are all excellent apps and whichever one you choose depends on your personal learning preference and style. | | What do you mean by "one test bank?" | | Our GroundSchool FAA test preparation titles are divided into a number test banks . Each test bank includes one or more "tests" in it. For example, the Private and Recreational test bank includes the Private Pilot Airplane, Private Pilot Helicopter, and several other individual tests. What this means is that should newer versions of the test questions or software that we provide become available, you will be welcome to download them at no additional charge. However, there is a catch: when you purchase this software, it is for your own, personal use only. You may NOT share this with friends, etc. Please direct such people to purchase their own copy! We hope you find this tradeoff to be fair - in exchange for lifetime free upgrades, you agree not to share this software inappropriately. Free upgrades means that in the future you can use this app to review or brush up. Please note that purchases are non-trasnferrable between platforms due to restrictions put in place between Apple and Google. Most people purchase online with a credit card - this is in practice HIGHLY secure and in many years of doing business, there have been ZERO problems with this (SWreg's specialty is online software sales - they do a very good job). However, if you are uncomfortable with this or want to pay using an alternate means (check / PayPal, etc), SWreg will accept that, too. Simply start the order process online (choose the product, fill in the details on the page after that), and then before you go to payment, you will have a choice of many alternate payment methods.
- After you have completed the order process, your unlock code will arrive in your email inbox. Use this unlock code to transform the version of the software that you downloaded into the fully working version.
