Gift Purchases Passing along an educational and/or aviation gift is one of the most thoughtful things you can do. It shows a commmitment to the lifelong flourishing of your recipient. We are very grateful to the parents, grandparents, family, friends, and colleagues who have gifted our products to others. To give a gift of products purchasable via our website (Windows PC software and apps) This includes FAA test prep and other products for Windows PC: Go to the checkout as normal as if you were buying the item for yourself. On the (FastSpring) checkout Page, you should see a "Gift" checkbox. Select that. Fill in the recipient's information there. Both you and they will receive emails confirming the purchase and the electronic delivery of the product (a keycode for most products) will go directly to the recipient. If you're buying for several people, you can also go to www.dauntless-soft.com/bulk to find bulk pricing. This mostly applies to business purchases, but this can be used by individuls who are buying for several other individuals as well. Just make sure that you read the terms and conditions there carefully, as they may differ from our single-user offerings. iOS (iPhone/iPad) You can use the following steps to gift one of our iOS apps to somebody who has an iPhone, iPad, or other compatible device. First, Find the app you want to give on the iOS App Store using the links on our website and then do the following: On the app's page at the Apple iOS app store, tap the app's detail page Tap the "Share" button, which is usually located at the top of the screen Tap "Gift App" Enter the recipient's email address, an optional message, and select the date you want the gift to be sent Choose your payment method and confirm the purchase The recipient will receive an email with instructions on how to download the app. You can also gift an Apple gift card or App Store & iTunes gift card, which the recipient can use to purchase apps and subscriptions from Apple. Apple Mac Follow basically the same steps as outlined above for iOS app gifts, but follow links from our website to the relevant links on the Mac app store istead. Hopefully you will find the same "share" ... "gift" links and features there, but it is unclear if Apple has enabled this for all apps in all locations. Googling "giving a mac appstore app as a gift" may give you more up to date information if you get stuck. The availability of Mac app gifting capability is entirely at Apple's discretion, it seems. Android (Google Play) You can use the following steps to gift one of our iOS apps to somebody who has a compatible Android phone, tablet, or other device. First, Find the app you want to give on the Google Play app store using the links on our website and then do the following: From the app's page on the Google Play app store, tap "More" (or "..." in some cases) at the top Tap "Gift" Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase
