GroundSchool
is packaged in an attractive Super King Jewel Case. A
Super King Jewel Case is essentially a larger, sturdier,
more attractive, and all-around higher quality version
of an audio CD case. No, it's not a DVD (Amaray) case
(those are much "cheaper" in construction and
feel), though it is about the same size. The corners are
rounded and the construction is pretty tough--they're
pretty hard to scratch or crack.
Each
GroundSchool package is printed in full color on all surfaces
and is shrink-wrapped. Inside the box is the program CD-ROM
and a postcard containing a unique registration / unlock
code.
Product
Size: 190.0 x 142,2 x 10.4mm (7.5"x 5.6"x 0.4").
0.18kg (0.39lbs) each. (about the same size and weight
of a DVD box).
Because
of their compact size, GroundSchool CDs are good for mailing
or for inclusion in pilot "kits" such as Private
Pilot "kit."

GroundSchool
wholesale purchase page for FBOs, Flight Schools, Flight Shops,
and similar organizations.
We
thank everyday pilots and mechanics who stumble access this
page for directing FBO managers and similar people to this web
page.
Even
if you already stock products by Gleim and/or ASA, we invite
you to stock our GroundSchool software. It's a great complement
or alternative to those products. Pilots and mechanics love
it and it teaches them well, and it's a great-looking, easy
to manage, fast-moving item for retail shelves.
What
is GroundSchool?
- FAA
written test prep software. Available for Private Pilot, IFR,
Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, ATP, Flight Engineer,
and Aviation Mechanic (General, Airframe, and Powerplant)
- In
continuous development since 1996. Previously sold primarily
electronically, now available on a retail CD-ROM
- VERY
user friendly and much more packed with useful features than
any offering by ANY other vendor.
- GroundSchool
users report average score WELL in excess of FAA published
averages. Users love it because it works - they get high scores
and learn the material well with minimal study time.
- Written
by a number of CFIs, Professional Pilots, and ex- Pilot and
Mechanic Examiners. Includes all the charts and figures that
users need, plus includes explanations of correct and incorrect
answers plus copious supplementary material.
- CATS
and LaserGrade Testing Center emulation modes - eliminates
test apprehension by letting users practice (if they so choose)
in the same format that they will be examined on at CATS
or LaserGrade testing centers. A Dauntless Software
exclusive feature!
- Thousands
of satisfied users to date.
Why
GroundSchool is Great Product to Stock:
- ONE
SKU / Product for ALL test types - you don't have to stock
separate CD-ROMs for Private Pilot, IFR, ATP, etc. like you
do with books - each CD-ROM contains ALL of the test preps,
but the user only buys ONE at a time. How do we accomplish
this minor miracle? It's like this: each CD-ROM contains a
postcard with a unique unlock code. The users use this code
to unlock the product via our Internet servers. During the
unlock process, the user selects which test to unlock. There
is no way for a clever user to beat this system by installing
on different machines or other such tricks. This system is
efficient, fair, and it works and allows you to sell the pilot
a new CD-ROM for each written test he/she needs to prepare
for just as if you were selling books.
- NOT
JUST FOR AIRPLANE - We said all test types, yes, but
also most sub-tests are supported. So, you can sell this for
test prep for Airplane, Helicopter, Gyroplane, Hot Air Balloon,
Military Competence, ATP 121 and 135, Flight Engineer Turbojet,
Flight Engineer Turboprop, Flight Engineer Reciprocating and
all sorts of tests. Going by the FAA's statistics on numbers
of tests taken, this software covers 99%+ of test takers.
- NEVER
GOES OUT OF DATE! - This product will be as good on the
shelves in 2009 as it is in 2004. No ripping off book covers
to send back to a publisher! Why? Because as soon as the user
installs the software, he/she has the option of updating it
to the latest available via the Internet. That's right - it's
SELF UPDATING!
- PIRACY-RESISTANT
- While no product can claim to be truly "Piracy Proof",
GroundSchool is Piracy-resistant - users can not simply pass
along the CD-ROM to friends who are also studying for the
same exam. The friends will have to buy their own. Why? Because
GroundSchool features an Internet activation process not unlike
that of Microsoft WindowsXP. Pilots find this quick
and unobtrusive process to be fair and painless.
Pricing
GroundSchool
is priced to cost a little bit more than some test prep books,
but somewhat less than others' software. Nevertheless, our software
is much better for many pilots than either books or the other
software.
We
continue to sell the software via our own website, but as we
get more FBOs, Flight Schools, and others onboard, we will set
our website pricing to be higher than that that can be expected
at most FBOs. We want to develop an effective network through
you while still being able to reach potential users outside
of our as-yet limited retail reach. We encourage our website
visitors to try to purchase locally (from you) first, if possible.
We're
probably reaching less than 5% of potentially interested pilots
via our website. You represent the other 95%. People will buy
from you when they see the attractive product at your retail
location just as they buy Gleim and ASA from you despite those
products being available online as well.
The
SRP on the GroundSchool CD-ROMs is USD $34.99. This is not printed
anywhere on the discs or packaging.
Where
to Purchase

Schools, FBOs, etc. are invited to purchase GroundSchool from
