Transfer Safelog + Data to new computer, tablet, or phone?
Category: Safelog Pilot Logbook

Question / Issue:
I just bought a new computer. How do I transfer the program and data to this new computer?

Solution:
The process of installing Safelog on a new PC, Mac, tablet, or phone couldn't be easier:
  1. Visit www.pilotlog.com
  2. Find and download the version of Safelog for your device.
  3. When the program or app starts, it will prompt you for your user name and password. Enter these.
  4. Your data will now be transferred and synced to your new device from the Safelog cloud.
The entire process takes just a few moments!

If after you sync you find that "not all your data is there", then this is because you didn't properly sync some other device. For example, maybe you logged a flight on your old PC but didn't sync this flight to our SafelogWeb cloud. No problem - just go to the old PC, perform a sync in the Safelog program/app, and the missing flight will thereafter be available the next time you 'sync' from the new device.
