How can I buy Dauntless products in bulk?
Please visit our Bulk Purchase Page (if you aren’t there already). The process is fast, fully automated, and—depending on payment method—as fast as immediate. No paperwork or phone quotes, just our best prices up front. If you need a non-binding quote to show to accounting, start the order process and click "quote" as your payment method. If you're ready to purchase and represent a stable company/school/organization (no individuals), click "invoice" at checkout to submit a binding purchase order request.

What do I get after purchase?
Your confirmation email includes (under “license” or “keycode”) a secure link to your fulfillment portal. Open it to:

  • View the activation keycodes you purchased.
  • Track usage—see how many codes are used and how many remain.
  • Notify recipients: enter a student’s email (and optional name) and the system sends a welcome email with their keycode plus download/activation steps.
  • See all orders placed with the same email address in one dashboard.
  • Assign keycodes to campuses, instructors, etc.
  • Top up codes as needed.

Quantity Discounts
Our bulk process is automated to keep prices low. Our terms—including pricing—are fixed. In the very unlikely case that you9 you believe a competitor beats us in a like-for-like, please contact us before you buy so that we can review.

See the pink "pricing matrix" buttons on the bulk purchase page (above). Discounts apply per line item (not on the total cart). The checkout screen shows the final price. Order fulfillment when paid by methods other than purchase order is normally immediate once payment is received (so, instant if you pay by credit or debit card, for example). For purchase orders, fulfillment happens in most cases after your PO request is manually accepted by us (but before you pay - this normally happens within 24 hours) but in some cases we may ask for payment before fulfillment.

  • Bulk orders are non-refundable—please purchase only what you’ll use.
  • Larger organizations (typically those with several hundred students or more per year using our prep) can benefit from no-minimum-quantity best-price pricing. This is set up on a case-by-case basis and allows larger organizations to dynamically purchase codes as they need them.

How to buy iOS (iPhone/iPad), Mac, and Android apps in bulk
Good news! Apple and Google now make it easier than ever to buy our apps in bulk for iOS, Mac, and Android users. We also mark our apps as “eligible for maximum educational discount” in both stores to help schools save. Except for Safelog subscriptions (see below), iOS, Mac, and Android apps must be purchased directly from Apple/Google—not from us.

  • Businesses, schools, and organizations can typically buy our iOS, Mac, and Android apps in bulk from Apple and Google. This is different than for our Microsoft Windows PC apps, which you can buy in bulk via our bulk purchase page.
  • You’ll need to be set up directly with Apple and/or Google. Many organizations already are—check with your manager or IT team.
  • If you’re not yet set up, work with IT and explore:
    • For iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Mac: search for “Apple IT Zero Touch Deployment”.
    • For Android: search for “Managed Google Play”.
  • Once set up, use your organization account to find our apps and distribute them via Apple/Google’s bulk-purchase tools to your students/pilots/clients.
  • We don’t participate directly here—bulk purchases for Mac/iOS/Android happen entirely within Apple’s and Google’s systems, including pricing, terms, and eligibility. Schools and companies tell us that, once configured, it’s straightforward and works well.
  • The above applies to most apps, but not to our Safelog pilot logbook. We can sell Safelog subscriptions in bulk. Your pilots then use those subscriptions in the free Safelog iOS, Mac, and Android apps. Visit our bulk purchase page for Safelog pricing.

But what if my small company really can’t get an Apple or Google organizational account?

  • Apple and Google have made onboarding much easier than in the past, so it’s often possible—especially with some persistence, even for small businesses. If you’ve confirmed it truly won’t work for you...
  • In general, App Store and Google Play purchases must be/can be made by individual account holders per platform. If your students would benefit from our apps, please direct them to our website for links for the apps of their choice at the official Apple/Android app stores.
  • However, if you're a school with regular students, we can make this easier for you by setting up a special, customized portal for you that can seamlessly integrate with your website's look and feel - we've done this for dozens of schools and companies and this works great while being absolutely minimal work for you. We don't even charge for this. Contact us if interested.
  • You can also explore Apple/Google “gift” options:
    • Learn about Apple’s app gifting as a way to distribute apps to a moderate number of users. If that link changes, search for “gifting an Apple App Store app.” This works for both iOS and Mac.
    • For Android, search for “Google Play gift an app.” You’ll find ideas and third-party guidance, though Google doesn’t currently offer a single official flow we can link to.

Can individual students return keycodes?
That’s your call—we don’t mediate returns. In your fulfillment portal, you can see if a code has been registered to someone. If it’s unused, you may refund the customer and reissue that unused code to someone else (the original recipient must agree not to use it).

For clarity: individual codes are for one person and may not be shared. Deliberate sharing or unauthorized use may is not cool. To protect honest customers, we may cancel codes and pursue remedies in cases of intentional abuse. We understand honest mistakes and are glad to help clarify any usage questions.

Technical and customer support?
Dauntless provides technical support through our online helpdesk (https://www.dauntless-soft.com/helpdesk), with self-help tools, FAQs, automated responders, and a team of support and subject-matter experts. If someone you supplied a keycode to needs technical help, please direct them to our unlock wizard and helpdesk.

The main exception: issues related to your sale (e.g., a buyer ordered a Windows key but doesn’t own a Windows PC). In those cases, please use your fulfillment portal to confirm the code is unused and handle any refund or exchange as you see fit.

We strongly encourage you and your customers/students to “try before you buy.” Most Windows titles have demos on our website so customers can confirm compatibility and fit. This reduces platform mix-ups and other avoidable issues. Demo versions convert to full versions with a keycode and include enough content to give users a solid feel for the product.
