FAQ > Safelog Pilot Logbook
Attaching Photos to Flight Records

Yes you have the ability to attach photos to flight records in Safelog. This is a great way to memorialize your flights, the places you go, and the people you meet. In mobile versions of Safelog, where supported, this can include not just attaching files from your photo / file library, but also you can take photos directly from your camera.

  • You can view all of your photos by going to www.SafelogWeb.com ... Other Tools ... Image Library
  • Clicking on the print icon next to individual flights in the logbook view of SafelogWeb.com will take you to the "detail mode printout." This allows you to print out detailed information about individual flights, complete with any photos or signatures that have been attached to them.
Capacity Notice: While no explicit policy for this has yet been determined at the time of this writing, we reserve the right to limit the total and/or individual size and/or quantity of media, including images, that users upload into the system. We will make every effort to contact those who may be running into or above "considerate" limits if and when we make such determinations. In general, our policy so far has been that if you upload the occasional reasonably sized photo or scan to your flights, then that will be fine. If, on the other hand, you are uploading very large files or very many files, this may place disproportionate burden on our storage and synchronization facilities. We thank you for your measured consideration and judicious use of this capability.
