FAQ > Safelog Pilot Logbook
Professional Printing and Binding Services

An electronic Logbook like Safelog is great, but sometimes for career or sentimental purposes you may want a paper version. If you just want a regular paper version, Safelog features many logbook printouts that you can print on your own printer at home.

However, If you want something fancier, such as perhaps your logbook bound into a leather binder, please look under SafelogWeb ... Other Tools .. Customized Bound / Leather Logbooks.

There, you will find a listing of companies that we recommend for such services. Please use the discount code "SAFELOG" to get the best deal with them.

Such services will typically require you to generate and send a PDF of your logbook for them to print and bind. Many logbooks in Safelog have margin and page size options for you to generate exactly what you'd like. One print option that you should be particularly aware of (again, available on many, but not all logbook printouts) is the option to alternate top/bottom or left/right margins on even/odd pages. This option is useful for those of you printing duplex (both sides) logbooks as this allows you to make a larger margin on the side where the binding/staples/stitching goes.
