The 332 All Weather Squadron was formed on August 11, 1989, as part of 114 Combat Wing at Tanagra and was given the call sign “Geraki” (Hawk). On November 1st, 1989, sporting their blue and gray camouflage paint schemes, the first 14 Mirage 2000s were delivered to former Mirage F-1CG and F-4E Phantom pilots. 332 Squadron was certified on the Mirage 2000EG in November 1990. The primary tasks of the Hellenic Mirage 2000s are as an all-weather interceptor and anti-shipping where the main weapon is the Exocet AM-39 Missile.

Additional Specifications for the 2000EGM
The 2000E is a single-seat Multi-role export model based on 2000C with an M53-P2 power plant. They feature an ICMS 1 defensive countermeasures suite, which is an updated version of the standard Mirage 2000C countermeasures suite and is characterized by two small antennae near the top of the tailfin. These Mirage 2000s were later modified in the field to carry the Aerospatiale AM39 Exocet anti-ship missile. Other differences from the 2000C include RDM radar with CW illumination for Super 530D AAM, two main computers, with expanded memory, ULISS 52 INS, improved ECM, VE-130 HUD, VMC-180 head-down and expanded weapon options. They also have an improved self-defence (ICMS Mk 1).
