FAQ > Safelog Pilot Logbook
Multiple Legs?

Safelog supports either simple (to-from) or multiple-leg (to-via-from) records. It will automatically compute flight distances for each and can also auto-compute day/night breakdowns.

To turn "via" on or off, go to Setup ... Airports and Flight Distance. You'll also find quite a few other useful choices there for airport display and calculation.

Please note that multiple legs ("via field") are turned on by default in the FAA version of Safelog but generally turned off in the EASA and other versions. This corresponds to how most pilots typically log things in their respective regions. However, you are welcome to change this to your liking by going into 'setup' and selecting or de-selecting this as you like.
